Izzy Harms began his study of jewelry design and repair at Gem City College in Quincy, IL. He began working as an apprentice jeweler in central Illinois in 2012. In 2018 Izzy began to put together his own jewelry design studio. Izzy now specializes in jewelry design and repair.

Izzy Harms is married to Kelsey Harms. They have two children and two dogs, Jasper and Daisy.
